Presenting the Policar Ferrari 126 C2 #28.
The Ferrari 126 C2 #27 is a car that participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 1982. The car was designed by Harvey Postlethwaite and developed in the Pininfarina wind tunnel. After four years of collaboration with Michelin, the Italian team changed tire supplier by fitting the Goodyear tires.
Gilles Villeneuve raced in the Ferrari 126 C2 lost his life in an accident at the Zolder circuit during qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix in 1982.
After death of Villeneuve, The Ferrari team called Patrick Tambay to take over the wheel of the #27 car. The French driver won the Grand Prix of Germany at the Hockenheim circuit
